Reflections On A Year of Revolutions & 2012 Resolutions:
Stay Original
Dear World,
As another year comes to a close and a we look forward to new chapter, most folks are reflecting on the past 12 months and contemplating resolutions to make 2012 their best year yet. I went into the lab with my songwriting partners Anas Canon and Fred Nilsson to create a song that would reflect the feel of the end of one cycle and the beginning of another.
My new years resolution is to 1) stay original and resist the temptation to conform and imitate and 2) to work diligently and consistently to develop my natural talents in order to improve myself creatively, spiritually, physically, and intellectually.
With that in mind I wrote this song 'Stay Original.' It will be on my upcoming album Majnun's Lost Memoirs but in the spirit of gift giving it will be available to download for FREE for the rest of 2011.
