The KAJ:: We Gone Groove

The KAJ, as in casual or cashmere, is the highly anticipated new trio on Remarkable Current label, comprised of the talents of Kumasi, Anas Canon & Joel Van Dijk.

2012 is dedicated to The Sounds Of Making Love, the new KAJ album and a renaissance movement that will take us back to the age of romance and gentlemenliness. Music that will remind you of a sound you didn't even know you missed.  Recently, on a KAJ photo shoot at a vintage car show in Los Angeles, Kumasi told me that today's new song release We Gone Groove "is dedicated to the 100%. Groove life away with the rest of the 99!"


Last year Remarkable Current released the smash hit L.O.V.E as an appetizer to keep you hungry while this special Classic Soul project was in development.  New Year's Day will officially launch 'The KAJ' and fans can expect a new song release every other week over the next 3 months.


I can always tell when corresponding with Anas if he is working on The KAJ songs because he gets excited like a little kid with a new slinky. Just last week while in the studio, I overheard him tell Bridget Barkan, a special KAJ guest artist, that "I can't remember the last time I was this excited to release new music."
